DIMASLAY is a talented, self-taught braider based in the Bronx.

I was only 10 years old when I first discovered my love for doing hair. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the beauty, creativity, and confidence that comes from transforming hair. What started as a childhood passion quickly became something I knew I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life.

As I got older, I taught myself how to do braids, lashes, nails, and more, but my heart always came back to hair. Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a hairdresser and being able to create beautiful styles that make people feel confident and good about themselves.

Now, being able to turn something I loved as a little girl into a career is such a blessing. Every braid, every style, and every client reminds me why I started. 💕✨

This isn’t just something I do — this is a passion I’ve carried with me since I was 10. And I’m just getting started. 🥹🫶🏽
